How to beat depression and weight gain
Depression is a curable disease of your mind which affects not only your mind but your body also. First and most important thing is to tell some one about what your going through. It helps a lot. You feel light hearted.
First of all you'll have to realise that this depression has become a part of yourself which you have been carrying as a baggage since long and thus to remove this thing you'll have to do something more than you usually do.
Break this vicious circle. Take the small steps first.
Surely it will take time but it is fair enough to give yourself a chance to come out of that depression with flying colours.

you have to maintain a routine. A very strict one. Get up early in the morning and go out. See the sun hear the chirping of birds. Go for a walk or a jog. Do this everyday for atleast an hour.

play a game everyday. Best part of playing a game is you will be lost in the thought of playing well so you will never think about.
Don't worry about the comments of other people. When you are in car dogs will chase you and you won't get down and throw stones at it will you? No instead you move forward so don't worry if some one tells you something bad like your gaining weight and your turning 30 something like that. Let it go. The most important thing is to stay focused and disciplined. You can do it. Better late than never. Go in to strict routine. No matter what stop drinking alcohol and other fat items. Skip the parties skip the team lunch. You are what you think and do and not what you want to be.
Follow these steps:
- Whenever you feel like eating something. Eat something healthy. (Always have a fruit by your side)
- Start with some walk whenever you get time(with music on or without music upto you).
- Drink a lot of water(It has a great impact on our body.)
- Jogg, run, do yoga, skipping or join a gym whatever you think you can pursue in the long run ( your patience will be checked here).
See all this as a part of your progress. And make sure that by the end of year you will definately be a lot better person both mentally and physically.
