Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has refused to promote his upcoming movie Mohenjo Daro on Colors’ dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 9, as he was asked to appear on the channels comedy show ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’.
Now the actor is seen shooting for Kapil Sharma show to promote his upcoming movie flick Mohenjo Daro.
We all know about the ongoing cold war between Krushna Abhishek’s ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ and Kapil Sharma’s ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. The Kapil Sharma show is family entertainer where they perform comedy skits and interacts with audience.
On the other hand, the ‘roast’ format of Comedy Night’s Bachao makes B-town actors to stay out of Bharati Singh’s and Abhishek Krushna’s show, where in the guest is showered with insulting comments for laughter.
Recently at the promotion of Housefull 3, Akshay Kumar snapped at one of the show’s comedian for having insulted Lisa Haydon and has now decided to promote his new film Rustom on Kapil Sharma Show.
Mohenjo Daro releases on the same day as Akshay’s Rustom has also decided to stay away from Comedy Nights Bachao. The question still remains, Why did Hrithik opt out of Krushna’s show? Hrithik’s close sources said Hindustan Times that, “Hrithik will only be promoting his film on The Kapil Sharma Show. He had great fun promoting Krissh 3 on Kapil’s show. He has been asked to promote his show on Colors’ Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa and Comedy Night Bachao. Hrithik has declined the kind offer.”
Hrithik Roshan’s movie, Mohenjo Daro is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and is about an indigo farmer Samran. The story is set in 2016 BC at the heights of the Indus Valley civilization. The movie will hit silver screens on August 12 this year.
Krushna might change the format of his show, and lets hope to see a ‘Comedy Night Bachao’ wherein the host would be roasted by the guest.
