HTC to launch Apple iPhone inspired smartphone One A9 in September
Major electronic company HTC Corp is all set to launch it’s new version of smartphone One A9 this September. The new model is inspired by Apple iPhone. HTC said, the new smartphone One A9 will be presented at IFA’s consumer electronics and home appliances trade show to be held in Berlin this September.
HTC’s One A9 appeared first in December last year. As reported by a leading website on Tuesday, this new device is expected to have a similar design like the original One A9 with a few changes, for rear and front camera placements.
The company also plans to use the same naming pattern that Apple follows every year. HTC is planning to name this new phone as One A9s.
As per reports posted on VB on Monday, blogger Evan Blass said that HTC is about to launch a successor to its A9 flagship model at the IFA, which is the largest consumer electronics exhibition in Europe. It will be held from September 2-7 in Berlin.
Blass also stated, “What’s most interesting about the alleged follow-up device is that HTC seems to have decided to pay homage to Apple naming conventions as well, dubbing the nearly aesthetically-unchanged model, One A9s — the same nomenclature applied to so-called ‘tock’ year iPhones.”
Earlier this year, it was reported by tech websites that HTC would unveil its new Desire 10 series this September, including the Desire 10 Pro and the Desire 10 Lifestyle.
As reported by a leading technology daily, this website also stated that, the HTC Desire 10 is likely to be introduced in September, while the more advanced HTC Desire 10 Pro is likely to be unveiled after the IFA show.
The 2015 launched HTC A9 was compared to Apple’s iPhone 6s when some commentators found out certain similarities.
Though the main camera’s remains unchanged at 13MP, the front camera will now be upgraded to 5MP as compared to 4MP earlier.
However it is still unclear as to what kind of processor will be equipped with One A9.
