Jacqueline Fernandez or Kriti Sanon in Baaghi sequel
Sajid Nadiadwala is all set ready to make Baaghi sequel after Sabbir khan directorial ‘Baaghi’ managed to impress cine lovers.
Baaghi had Tiger shroff in the male lead and actress Shraddha Kapoor essayed the role of a rebel girl, but now makers want to go in for a change as far as the sequel is concerned.
While tiger shroff would continue to reprise his role in the second installment of Baaghi, the female lead is yet to be decided. The rumour mills are on their work, making speculation regarding who would be seen in the female lead’s role.
The makers are still confused over the lead actress, say sources. Earlier, it was reported that Shraddha Kapoor will continue to play the female lead in “Baaghi 2.” She had featured in the original too. Before that, it was reported that Tiger’s rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani who is now seen with him in the song ‘Bifikra’ was finalised for the sequel.
As per latest reports, actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon, are the top contenders for playing the female lead in ‘Baaghi 2’.
Both Jacqueline and Kriti shares a good working relationship with producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Jacqueline has worked with Sajid in his directorial debut ‘Kick’ and most recent release ‘Dishoom’. Kriti on the other hand made her debut in Heropanti under Sajid’s banner.
There are reports that the second installment of ‘Baagi’ will be directed but the choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan, while the first installment of ‘Baaghi’ was directed by Sabbir khan. The reason behind Sabbir not being the director is that he is soon to start his next project with Tiger. Tiger will reportedly undergo special martial arts training for the movie.
As reported by Hindustan Times, It was earlier reported that Sajid would take this film to China.
And now let’s wait and watch who proves to be lucky, Jacqueline or Kriti. While Jacqueline will be seen with Tiger in the upcoming superhero flick, A Flying Jatt, Kriti and Tiger’s jodi has proved to be a hit at the box-office in 2014 with Heropanti.
