Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that PM Modi should speak on the issue of Dalit, Kashmir, farmers suicide and rise of dal prices in his forthcoming Independence Day speech.
“Sir, please speak on Dalit atrocities, gau rakshaks, Kashmir, Akhlak, farmer suicides, daal price. People dying to hear you on these,” Kejriwal said in a Twitter post.
The AAP chief’s suggestion came after Modi asked on social media for speech ideas for his August 15 address.
“My 15th August speech should represent the voice of 125 crore Indians. Share your ideas for the speech on (Narendra Modi) mobile app”, Modi said.
Kejriwal is the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and a leader of opposition, who has been engaged in an acrimonious power struggle in Delhi against the BJP-led Central government.
