Narada TMC sting : Central Forensic Science Laboratory says Narada tapes genuine
The Central Forensic Science Laboratory , Chandigarh has confirmed that the tapes of the sting operation by Narada News named ‘X’ files done by Editor in Chief Mathew Samuel are genuine and have not been tampered with.
Editor in Chief of Narada News Mathew Samuel says : ” The truth always prevails. I have been saying from day one that the tapes are genuine and have not been tampered or edited. I welcome the decision.”
In its report it says the audio and video contents of forty seven movie files(. mov) mentioned as mentioned under the column Played in table 1 ( against respective serial number) have been examined using the software Media info, Forevid, Video Editor, Gold wave, Adobe Audition.
On the basis of the auditory wave form and spectrographic analysis of the audio and frame by frame analysis of the video all the forty seven movie files are in continuity. Tampering / Editing has not been found on them.
The remaining 26 movie files (.mov) mentioned as under the column Played in table – 1 ( against the respective serial number) could not be played with the software available in the laboratory.
Released in March during the assembly polls, the sting purportedly showed a host of Trinamool high profile leaders including state ministers and former union ministers taking wads of currency notes in return for favour to a fictitious company.
