Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Tuesday asked his fans to watch for Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming film “Rustom”.

Salman took to Twitter to share a video urging his fans to watch “Rustom”, which is slated to release on August 12.

In the video, the “Dabangg” star is heard saying: “Humare film industry ke Rustom-e-Hind ki film aa rahi hai naam hai ‘Rustom’. August 12 ko jaakar dekhiye Akshay Kumar ki film ‘Rustom’. (The film of our film industry’s Rustom-e-Hind’s titled ‘Rustom’ is releasing. Watch Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ releasing on August 12).”

Salman, who was seen sporting a white t-shirt and grey jacket, captioned the video: “10 Days To ‘Rustom’, Akshay Kumar.”

“Rustom” is based on real life story of Indian Navy officer Commander K.M. Nanavati, who shot dead his wife’s lover but was pardoned. The film, which carries the tag line ‘3 shots that shocked the nation’, also brings back Akshay and director Neeraj Pandey after the duo worked together on their 2015 project “Baby”.

Pandey is also co-producing the film too.

Santosh Thundiyil has handled the film’s cinematography while it is directed by debutant Tinu Suresh Desai.
