Indian tennis ace pair Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna on Friday defeated Andy Murray and Heather Watson of Britain in the mixed doubles quarterfinals ongoing Rio Olympics. The match lasted one hour and seven minutes only.
The Indian players have earned themselves a semi final against United States' Venus Williams and Rajeev Ram.
The duo won its quarter-final match 6-4, 6-4 at the Olympic Tennis Centre in Rio de Janeiro.
Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna had beaten Samantha Stosur and John Peers of Australia 7-5, 6-4 in the mixed doubles pre-quarterfinals on Thursday.
