The See Through Trend: What Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian Wore to MTV VMA
These celebrity outfits at MTV VMA don't need a second look, an eyeful is enough to get a good glance at what they are wearing and what's underneath
The celebrity looks for MTV Video Music Award 2016 are out and have set the internet on fire! This year there were two dominant trends seen on the red carpet that stole the show. See-through outfits and blazers with nothing underneath were worn extensively my celebrities at MTV VMA.
Below is a list of who wore what and who grabbed the limelight at this much awaited video music award. For your convenience, we have decide these celebrities in two groups. You already know what they are.
This wasn't the first time that Queen Bey showed up to a red carpet event in a sexy see-through dress. She wore a Francesco Scognamiglio dress with voluminous feathery collars in a mint blue shade and shimmer. Although, it wasn't only her dress that attracted paparazzi. The singer who has been nominated for her song Lemonade at the MTV VMA 2016, made a bold move to carry forth the campaign #Blacklivesmatter by bringing along with herself, mothers of those who have lost their children in the recent series of police shootings. Mothers of Eric Garner, Mike Brown, Oscar Grant and Trayvon Martin, accompanied Beyoncé to the MTV VMAs.
2. Kim Kardashian
The Kardashian girls are known for making headlines on a regular basis. This time, Kim walked the red carpet in a simple off-shoulder, see through black dress and paired up chunks of golden statement necklaces with it. She pulled of, somewhat of a beach look with minimal dressing, make up and a wet-hairdo. Moreover, there are talks around the town that she let her fans choose her look for MTV VMAs.
3. Nicki Minaj
The singer of Anaconda wore an elegant, mid-night blue lace gown with strips of clothes hiding what's important. Her dress was designed by Bao Tranchi. The body fitting dress, made her curves look beautiful, in all the right places.
Hairy wore a black lace jumpsuits, with embroidery work of black beads. Her red carpet outfit was designed by Georges Chakra and Baldwin pulled it off as boldly as ever.
Oh Boy! She showed off more than just her body tattoos. Halsey's silver white see-through jumpsuit designed by Yousef Al Jasmi, left nothing to one's imagination.
6. Ashley Graham
Dressed in a grey-black beaded gown designed by Naeem Khan, which was, obviously see through, Ashley pulled off the look with matching lingerie and no jewellery.
Only Blazers Appearances
1. Amber Rose
Well, considering the attention she demanded when she posted nudes of her on social media, it it a blessing that this diva decided to dress at all. She paired up her black Tom Ford wide-legged trousers with a matching buttoned blazer with double breasted collar. Underneath her blazer was nothing but an alluring black bra which was all lace.
The singer of Panda Designer wore a salmon pink shirt-less suit, with notch lapsed jacket and four buttons. The only think hanging from his upper body apart from his blazer were his blingy chains. His designer has not been identified, but rumours have it that it's Maison Martin Marginal. He matched his suit with yellow and brown shoes.
3. Ty Dolla Sign
Apart from the fact the he kept his upper body rather bare, Ty's all black outfit was accompanied by blazer made of lace with floral design.
His velvet maroon blazer with black leather pants seemed like a trip back into the past, which he completed with his vintage shades and his retro hairdo.
Who can say that she recently turned 30? Perhaps, her look at the VMAs was to reming people that she is still young. With bright yellow hair, metallic copper Gucci bell bottoms and Balmain Blazer with three buttons and double breasted collars.
6. Laura Perlongo and Nev Schulman
This couple clearly stole the show with Laura Perlongo dresses in black pants and olive jacket and no bra. She showed off her baby bump with all the oomph in the world. It was an adorable sight to watch Nev kissing Laura's belly as they pose for the papz at MTV VMA.
7. Frankie Grande
His outfit wasn't particularly appealing as his monochrome pants seemed like he just got back from a hard day at white washing walls and his shimmery black, velvet blazer did not go well with his spiked up ombre black-brown-blond hairdo. His shoes camouflaged with his pants and it all seemed a bit disastrous.
