It is not about that amazing device called an alarm clock..
Is it healthier to depend on our internal alarms? Invertebrate and vertebrate research says yes.
1. circadian clock – your body’s own biochemical body sleep/ wake dark/light regulator
2. “circumstantial alarms” e.g at 8am daily the noise from nearby construction starts, wakes you.
3. learned/ conditioned reflex e.g u always wake up at the smell of mom frying bacon.

Your body has become attuned to the habit of waking up at the same time. If you can train your mind to wake up at a given time you desire, you won’t even need an alarm clock.
Just pair your desired rising time with an activity you intend to do at the specific time. Assert to yourself while going to sleep that I’m going to wake up at the said time. A few shots at this, you’ll be amazed with yourself. It’s the unconscious mind, which makes this happen.
Also stop drinking water before you go to sleep. In fact, you should restrict fluids at least 30-45 mins before you retire in bed.
On the other side of this argument, it’s really a very healthy habit that you have inculcated. There’s a lot you can do by waking up so early, since there’s very creatures on the planet who’ll disturb you, at least for a couple of hours. That can be your ‘me time.’ Plan the day, meditate, exercise, write, read, whatever you love doing for yourself.
