Dubai has officially opened the gates of IMG Worlds of Adventure, for the public. It is the world's largest theme park.

As promised, His Royal Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with the crown prince Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, inaugurated the world’s largest theme park, IMG World of Adventure. Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, also accompanied the two on this special occasion. Dubai Media Office announced on their social media website, that they have opened the doors to the theme park.

The presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Emir of Dubai, made it very clear that this theme park is a rather important project to Dubai and is going to benefit the Emirate and UAE, in the long run. Dhs. 3.7 billion has been invested in the making of this theme park, which stretches across the distance of 1.5 million square feet.

Sheikh Mohammed Bid Rashid Al Maktoum has paid much focus on improving Dubai’s tourism, hospitality and entertainment sector and intends to make them better than ever with the aim of improving tourism by 2021 and making UAE the tourism hub of the Middle Eastern region. He believes that these three sectors are the main reason that the economy in Dubai has been on a boom. Since Dubai is famous for its reputation of breaking world records and building everything as grand and as big as possible, another news that followed the inauguration of IMG Worlds of Adventure was that Dubai is soon going to be launching Middle East’s largest inflatable waterpark. These inflatable rides will be located on Jumeirah Beach Road.
