Unwell Sonia Gandhi shifted to Ganga Ram hospital in Delhi
Congress president Sonia Gandhi has been shifted to Sir Ganga Ram hospital from the Army Research & Referral hospital, where she was treated after coming back from Varanashi on Tuesday.
Sonia had to break off her roadshow in Varanasi on Tuesday after she fell ill.
He returned to the national capital late night and was taken to Army Research And Referral Hospital for a check-up.
Congress general secretary and UP in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad told reporters at the airport that she was suffering from dehydration.
Gandhi, who reached Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, earlier on Tuesday to a rousing reception, took ill midway through her roadshow and had to abort it.
She was taken to a lodge where doctors attended on her and advised her to rest. Ghanshyam Srivastava, a doctor who attended on her, said she was feeling dehydrated and running high blood pressure (88-172), as well as fever.
