We all love to eat out, and end up eating a lot without even realising that your tummy is full and that over eating may lead to indigestion. But some times it gets worse and would turn out to be a bad food poisoning. If not taken care off on time food poison might end up in serious health issues. Some bacteria’s, viruses and toxins contained in the food causes food poisoning.

Here are a few quick kitchen ingredients that treats infection caused by food. These natural ways are tried and tested from times immemorial.

Ginger

Fresh, dried and powdered ginger

Are you struggling with an upset stomach then ginger is a great remedy for you. All that you need to do is to take a piece of ginger, grind it and then boil it with water, let it cool and then sip it slowly. This would be of a great relief to you. You can also mix few drops of ginger juice with a teaspoon of honey and then have it.

Lemon Juice

Lemon has anti bacterial, anti viral and anti inflammatory properties that help in providing relief from symptoms of food poisoning. Just add few sugar crystals in two teaspoons of  lemon juice and have it twice a day.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Alkaline content in this helps destroy the bacteria and provide relief to the gastrointestinal lining, thus giving a great relief from food poisoning. All you have to do is to mix a table spoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of warm water and then drink it.

Honey

Benefits of Honey

Honey is rich in anti bacterial properties which provide relief from symptoms of food poisoning by controlling the formation of excess acid in the stomach. Have one teaspoon of honey twice or thrice a day and this would help keep your stomach safe.

Garlic
