Always in news for his controversial comments, retired Supreme Court judge Markandey Katju has now taken a potshot at AAP leader Ashutosh for comparing ousted AAP minister Sandeep Kumar to national leaders Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and other political leaders.
Katju said Ashutosh must be made the ‘Minister of Private and Consensual Sex’ in the Delhi government. “Since a ministerial post in the Delhi Govt. has fallen vacant, I suggest Ashutosh should be made Minister of Private and Consensual Sex,” Katju said in a tweet.

“Should I be hanged for writing a column,” Ahutosh said in a tweet, adding “Is India turning into a fascist state?” He also accused NCW chairperson Lalitha Kumaramangalam of being an active member of the ruling BJP at the Centre.
“Indian history is full of examples of our leaders and heroes who had lived with their desires beyond social boundaries,” wrote Ashutosh, in his blog.
Ashutosh also questioned the intentions of television news channels that aired the footage of the alleged “objectionable video”. He also pondered why India, as a country, never questioned “its leaders about what they do or have done in their private moments”.
On Monday, the Congress protested against the Ashutosh’s blog and alleged that the party has been exposed by the arrest of Kumar in the sex-tape controversy.
