An Indian Air Force fighter aircraft, MiG-21, crashed in Rajasthan's Barmer district on Saturday. No casualties have been reported.
The fighter aircraft took off from Uttarlai airbase on the outskirts of Barmer but crashed moments later, media reported.
Both pilots ejected in time and are safe, police official said.
"The aircraft crashed near Uttarlai air force station in Barmer," a defence spokesperson said, adding further details are awaited.
The plane had crashed at an open field near Malio ki Dhani, which is about 20 km from the city.
