Intex to launch Aqua S7 smartphone with Reliance Jio welcome offer

Indian smartphone maker Intex has launched a new smartphone Aqua S7 which comes with a with 4G VoLTE support.

Intex-the Indian smartphone maker, popular for it’s low budget smartphones has now unveiled its latest entrant Aqua S7 into the smartphone market.

Aqua S7 is a budget smartphone with its USP being the ability to support 4G LTE and VoLTE at a price tag of Rs 9,499 and brings to users the Reliance Jio welcome offer.

Aqua S7 comes with a 5-inch HD display having a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The device is 8.70mm thick and weighs about 150 grams. The device comes with a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. This smartphone also comes with a 16 GB internal memory with support for microSD expandable.

On the front Aqua S7 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, and for those who love to click selfies this smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera has the ability to shoot full-HD videos at 30fps. Below the camera module there is a fingerprint scanner.

Now comes one major strong point of this smartphone, this dual sim smart phone is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and has a 3200mAh battery.

The device supports 4G LTE and VoLTE for better call quality and connectivity. Few other connectivity options on this device include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS/ A-GPS. Sensor paraphernalia includes Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and an Accelerometer.

The device seems to compete with Xiaomi’s recent smart phone Redmi 3S Prime. The Redmi 3S too comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display having a resolution of 1280×720. Xiaomi Redmi 3S is priced at Rs 6,999, and is available to purchase on Mi.com and Flipkart.

Aqua S7 will be available in Rose Gold, Dark Blue, and Champagne colour variants. The exact dates from which these elegant smart phones would be available on stores is still not revealed.
