Krrish, the original superhero of Bollywood doesn’t seem to lose his charm. Although the last film from the Krrish franchise Krrish 3 got released in 2013, the superhero is still an inspiration and is being replicated in the form of Lord Ganesh.

Recently, Rakesh Roshan saw a life-size version of Lord Ganesha as Krrish, that inspired him to revive the franchise.

Confirming this news, the director said, “When my wife showed me a tweet with Bappa’s picture as Krrish, it reaffirmed my belief that Krrish is the original superhero we have. It boosted my confidence and inspired me to make the fourth installment.”

He further added, “Ganesha is also called the God of Auspicious beginnings. I guess this was his way of saying that we have his blessings for Krrish 4.”

HrithikRoshan, who has been playing the superhero took to Twitter and announced, “Ganpati blessings for KRRISH4 :)) hope everyone is enjoying the festivities. Love to all.”

Senior Roshan already has an idea for the film. The shooting will begin next year and will be released during Christmas 2018.
