If rumours are to be believed, the sequel is going to be a continuation of the first movie Rock On! Only difference in this movie will be they will find a new female member - a pianist played by none other than Shraddha Kapoor. The core storyline is based in conflicts regarding the north-eastern regions of India. Most of the film is also said to have been shot in regions of Shillong. A renowned north-eastern band will perform in the movie. A traditional song will be featured in the movie.
The poster reads "Every generation finds its voice". The tagline seems to indicate that the movie will address conflicts in a revolutionary manner while using music as a source of communication and reaching out to the public.

While the poster has excited everyone enough to have them eagerly waiting for the movie to hit the screens, an all-black picture of the Magik band, which was uploaded by Farhan Akhtar on social media before the release of the poster, has already grabbed eye-balls. This elegant yet positively powerful portrait of the band has raised the bar.
Now, what's left to see is whether the movie does justice to these bold images!
