Motion poster of Dhanush starrer political thriller Kodi is out. Dhanush would be seen in a dual role for the first time in his career.

First look motion poster of Dhanush starrer ‘Kodi’ was released on Wednesday, September 28. The highlight of the film is that Dhanush would be seen playing a dual role for the first time in his career.

The first look motion poster gives us a glimpse of Dhanush’s two avatars in the film. In one avatar he comes with a thick moustache, on the other hand for the latter avatar he is seen with a thick bearded look along with a mustache.

Dhanush took it to twitter and shared the first look posters and the motion poster.

Dhanush’s wife and superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwaryaa R Dhanush also shared her excitement about this upcoming film on her official twitter account.

Kodi, directed by R S Durai Senthilkumar is a political thriller in which Dhanush would be seen portraying the role of twin brothers. The script for the film is written by the director R.S. Durai Senthilkumar and the music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan. In the film Dhanush would be seen romancing south Indian actresses Trisha Krishnan and Anupama Parameswaran. The film also has Kaali Venkat, Subbu Panchu, Vinu Mohan, Sathish. Another specialty of the film is that Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s father SA Chandrasekhar would be seen in a special role.

Dhanush fans had earlier come out with their own versions of the poster. Thanking them all he tweeted: “Enjoying all the fan made designs of #kodi .. Thanks for all the love and support. Love you all. [sic]”

Dhanush is currently busy shooting for his directorial debut Power Pandi. He is also collaborating with director Gautham Menon for ‘Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta’. There is a buzz that he is all set to produce Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s next film with director Selvaraghavan.

Official dates for the film’s audio and trailer release is still unknown. The film is expected to hit silver screens this Diwali.
