Employees at a Coca-Cola factory in Signes, southern France, discovered 370 kg of cocaine concealed inside a shipment of orange juice concentrate from Costa Rica, ‘The Independent’ has reported.
The Marseille prosecutor’s office said in a statement that they have launched an investigation into the trafficking and importation of illegal drugs after the discovery. The drugs were hidden in specially prepared sacks and are estimated to have a street value of 50 million euros.

A spokesman for Coca-Cola France said the company immediately notified the police when the discovery was made last Friday by their employees.
The police are yet to arrest anyone in connection with the cocaine shipment, but judicial police in Marseilles have launched an investigation to determine who sent the shipment.
