Guess who is not happy with Zayn Malik’s love life? Well, his mom Tricia! Gigi Hadid, 21, and Zayn Malik, 23, are in love, but it seems like not everyone approve this. Tricia Malik, 46, Zayn’s mom is reportedly forcing to get her son to split with Gigi. An insider tells OK magazine in their Oct. 10 issue, “She thinks Gigi’s too Hollywood,” the source said, adding that Tricia unliked how “Gigi spent most of her time on her phone” during their trip to Disneyland, and that the three of them went during August.
“Tricia wants Zayn to find a nice girl; she’s not sure Gigi fits the bill,” the source spills out. Tricia thinks that Gigi is “spotlight-seeking”, and doesn’t really accept how she dresses explicit and provocative all the time, the magazine had reported. In short, she wants him to get away from Gigi!
Although Gigi’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, 52, has reportedly mentioned the same thing about Zayn. “Yolanda Foster is not too keen on her daughter’s new romance,” a source has confirmed to Closer magazine. “She really liked Gigi’s ex, Joe Jonas — she thought he was completely devoted to her daughter and always kept things very low profile. But she worries Zayn relishes the fame his relationship with Gigi gives him.” Basically, both the moms think their kids are using each other in some way.
But, Yolanda’s Instagram post says that she approves their relationship!
This Wednesday afternoon, Yolanda shared her love and expressed her happiness for the pair.
“Happiness is seeing your kids happy and realizing they turned out to be really good and genuine people,” she wrote in her caption. “#Family #Love.”
Recently, she revealed to ES Magazine, “For the first time, we are both in a relationship where we have very similar interests outside of work and that is really important. We cook a lot together and do art together and we’re each other’s best friends. We both feel we can talk about anything and learn a lot from one another.”
For Zayn, he has some points as to why things are so smooth. He said he told Elle U.K, “She’s super intelligent; I think that’s why it works so well. And we do the same type of job so we get that with each other.”
