Akhilesh met Governor to brief about the ongoing Samajwadi war
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister paid a visit to Governor Ram Naik today and briefed him on the ongoing political scuffle in the state. Akhilesh met Governor when he was meeting with his party legislators and leaders to discuss his ‘ Vikas rath yatra’ ahead of Uttar Pradesh assembly polls. The ‘rath yatra’ is scheduled to start on November 3.
The UP Chief Minister briefed Naik on the ongoing political crisis in the state, News 18 reported.
Akhilesh has sacked four ministers of his cabinet including his uncle and State Party chief Shivpal Yadav. The other ministers who lost their posts were Om Prakash Singh, Narad Rai and Sayeda Shadaab Fatima.
Sources say that the CM’s visit was to apprise Governor of the situation prevailing in the state after sacking the four Ministers.
Tejnarain Pandey alias Pawan Pandey, a close aide of Akhilesh was expelled from Samajwadi Party today morning. By sacking Pandey state SP chief Shivpal Yadav asked the chief minister to relieve him of his ministerial positions. Pandey is a junior minister in the SP government.
The fracas in Samajwadi Party did not end even when Shivpal maintained that there was no strife in the party and the Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav family.
Ongoing scuffle has left the party divided into two sections of senior leaders and younger leaders.
However, SP chief Mulayam Singh have already made it clear that there was no strife inside the party. “Akhilesh is Chief Minister today and nobody has an objection to it,” Mulayam said brushing aside the speculations that a move was underway to upstage Akhilesh.
Reports claim that Akhilesh is would not step back from his stern acts by taking back the saked ministers as some other leaders as Ramgopal were also expelled from the party.
