Apple to likely ditch the traditional aluminum unibody design and bring back the glass-backed body, that we saw in iPhone 4. The reason why Apple introduced aluminum body is to differentiate Apple branding from other. All other phone makers started to adopt metal unibody in design, and that makes Apple bring back the old school design.

While there are a lot of stories surrounding after the launch of iPhone 7, Apple fans are crazy about the next year’s iPhone. With three more months there to hit the year 2017, Apple has planned something big for the year as it marks the 10th anniversary of the iPhone – iPhone 8.

Apple should be adopting the latest glass technology on its next iPhone in order to cut down overall weight. Many reports suggest that Apple is in works of making three trims of iPhone 8 – standard 4.7-inch, 5.5-inch and the last 6.5-inch. Not all these model will have glass body but we can expect it to be on the premium model.

Earlier reports suggested that Apple has signed a deal with Samsung to deliver OLED displays for the 2017 Apple devices. Apple has signed a pact with other display manufacturers to ship OLED, AMOLED, and Micro-LED displays as well.

The next generation iPhone is entitled to have cutting edge OLED curved display with an edge-to-edge display. This means Apple will ditch the home button and the display will take the entire front part – no top, bottom, or side bezels.

Wireless charging: The next iPhone box might include a wireless charger. Most of the new age Samsung phones support wireless charging but face challenges such as slow charging. Apple is expected to be working on a cutting edge technology for wireless charging since a long time and should successfully be able to overcome the challenges involved with wireless charging.

According to an in-depth report by VentureBeat, Apple is the only company that passed the requirements of embedding the WattUp technology in its devices to be provided by the Nasqad-listed company Energous which will enable the phone to be charged without wires.

“The WattUp reference design would only undergo compliance testing at Apple if Apple is evaluating its use in one of its portable devices. And the fact that Energous names the company so nonchalantly and unambiguously seems to be suggestive of a well-formed relationship between the two,” noted VentureBeat after securing a document from Energous specifying “Apple compliance testing.”

Apple is going to introduce its first largest screen in iPhone 8 with 6.2” to 6.5”. so we will be expecting a large screen Smartphone from apple with 3D – 4k resolution technology. Retina display along with 4K screen corning. Gorilla glass with most unbreakable glass which can be first to be installed in a Smartphone.

Apple is all known for its best camera clarity which can be compared with double MP of other devices. iPhone 8 will be having 14 MP primary cameras and 5 MP secondary cameras. Autofocus, Live Photo, Optical Image Stabilization and video recording in 720p @ 90 fps, 180p @ 60 fps and 2160p @ 30 fps.

iPhone 8 will be integrated with the latest running process and iOS technology. We will be experiencing iOS 11 which can be upgradable up to iOS 11.3.2 in iPhone 8. It is expected to run on 3 GB or 4 GB RAM as presently Apple has only 2 GB RAM.
