CNN Poll of Polls says after taking the averages of latest of last five national surveys, Hillary leads the race with (47%), closely followed by Trump at 41%, Libertarian Gary Johnson (5% )and Jill Stein (2%).
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton (47%) maintains a steady lead over her Republican rival Donald Trump, as per latest poll of poll by CNN.
It added that after taking the averages of latest of last five national surveys, Hillary leads the race with (47%), closely followed by Trump at 41%, Libertarian Gary Johnson (5% )and Jill Stein (2%).
The report, said Hillary still continues her lead , despite facing a tough challenge from Trump in state polls over the last week. She manages to maintain the lead she had got, when she led Trump 47% to 39%, during a survey taken last week .
However, the race for US election 2016 is currently set for a thrilling bout as Trump has managed to fight back aggressively and make some advancements in some states like in Florida, where he is now leading with 2-points.
But various surveys have predicted chances for both candidates, as a recent USA Today/Suffolk University poll had
given Clinton an upper hand with a 9-point national edge, 47% to 38%. But, according to a a Fox News poll released Wednesday evening found Clinton only 3 points ahead nationally, 44% to 41%. The CNN Poll of Polls does not take into account margin of error.
Trump has earlier alleged that he will not accept the results of the US election if he loses. He alleged chances of massive rigging by Hillary Clinton adding "Crooked Hillary conspired with mainstream media to ensure his defeat."
Trump reiterated that sex allegations against him have been brought to malign him at the time of his presidential bid.
Here are tweets from Trump campaign to support their claims:
