How Apple makes huge profits by selling the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
The removal headphone jack also takes away the chance of wear and tear, and triggers many warranty repairs over the retail life of the iPhone 7 handsets. The reduction in volume of repairs over millions of devices will represent a saving over the next few years. So its not a give and take policy directly! mostly they are Takers! ;)
3 minute read!
Apple updates some sort of features in every iPhone series. These updation are always look so advanced for every user and and all geeks fall for it. These factors are supposed to be a gain for users in a view. But Apple is making most profit out of all these changes.
If we have a close look at the new changes on iPhone7, its obvious that by buying earpods will increase the profit of Apple. Its not about what we do in shadows! Its a planned business model of Apple
The Home button, The head phone jack, and additional factors! everything matters!
Because the center point has been moved, any iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S case designed with a cutout for the camera lens will not be fully compatible with the iPhone 7. I can’t help thinking that Apple should have sweated this small detail to keep the positioning across the models, but now everyone who wants to use the camera needs to buy a new case – no doubt through the Apple Store and certainly many of those cases will be licenced through Apple’s Made for iPhone scheme.
Another example is Apple's battery!
Apple’s own smart battery case is a good example of this. The circuitry inside the iPhone 7 case is similar enough to the 6 and the 6S case that they are interchangeable, but the camera cut-out means that those invested in the $99 battery and case who upgrade have little choice but to buy another case. Forcing an additional peripheral sale doesn’t feel like a magical Apple experience, but it’s good for selling more peripherals.
Head phone jack!
The loss of the headphone jack also takes away a component that experiences a significant amount of wear and tear, and triggers many warranty repairs over the retail life of the iPhone 7 handsets. The reduction in volume of repairs over millions of devices will represent a saving over the next few years.
