While, iPhone 7 Plus comes up with its unique iOS, Google’s Pixel XL is backed by the tech giants expertise in the domain and is the only phone to have the latest version of Android – called also ‘Nougat’ – preinstalled.
While iPhone 7 has been launched already, Pixel XL will reach customers this October 20th. Now lets find out what are the major differences among the duo.
Google’s flagship smartphone definitely enjoys many advantages and is miles ahead of iphone on these fronts.
Both models have stunning 5.5-inch screens, but Pixel scores over iphone as its resolution is 1440p whilst the former has only 1080p. The RAM, (needed for the gadget’s multitasking) is only 3GB for iPhone, but Pixel boasts an incredible 4GB storage.
Google Pixel falls short on this issue, as iPhone 7 Plus is having Apple’s unique-first ever dual-lens camera. It is having optical zoom and a hi-tech dynamic range also. Google is yet to reveal info on its camera’s properties, so if you are camera freak, iphone is your best bet.
Surprisingly, due to speed of software development, both models share same features. Both let you swipe up or down using their home screen very fast by using shortcuts. They are similar in voice-enabled assistants – Google Now and Siri.
Pixel XL is having a 3.5mm headphone jack, but iPhone 7 or 7 Plus don’t have one.
Google’s Pixel XL is overpriced compared to other models in market, it is priced at £719 for the 32GB model and £819 for the 128GB model, said Google. Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus, similarly is a premium gadget and prices starts at £719 for the 32GB model.
