Kaabil teaser: Hrithik Roshan’s voice will give you goose bumps
Festivals are a great time for filmmakers to announce their upcoming big budget films. Yesterday, Aamir Khan released the trailer of his upcoming film, Dangal and today; Hrithik Roshan tweeted with the teaser of his upcoming triller, Kaabil.
When Sanjay Gupta announced his next with Hrithik, it was an unusual combination. Sanjay Gupta, the father of Hollywood remakes in India, managed to give us the chills in the first teaser of Kaabil.
Although it’s a video, it’s a rather blur one and one can hear Hrithik’s voice over giving us the chills to rethink how life would be if we were unable to see.
“Aapki aakhein toh khuli rehengi sir, par aap kuch dekh nahi payenge. Aap ke kaan khule rehenge par, aap kuch sun nahi payenge. Aapka mooh khula rehenga sir, par aap kuch bol nahi payenge. Aur sabsi badi baat sir, aap subkuch samajaoge par aage kisi ko samja nahi payenge” (Your eyes will be open but you wont be able to see, your ears will be open but you won’t be able to hear, your mouth will be open but you won’t be able to speak and worst still you will understand everything but won’t be able to make another understand)
The film is about a man who lived his life in darkness, until a tragedy ignites the flames of vengeance. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in lead roles. The film will be promoted on digital platforms. Following the first teaser, it is reported that a number of teasers, posters and motion posters will be released daily leading up to the trailer launch on October 26.
Kaabil is slated to release on January 26, 2017 and might clash at the box office with Raees, if Shah Rukh Khan and team decide to stick with the initial release date.
