NGT website hacked as revenge for ‘surgical strikes’
On Monday, hackers attacked the website of National Green Tribunal (NGT). The group named “D4RK 4NG31” posted messages on the website claiming this was a revenge for India claiming “surgical strikes” and alleged killings of “innocent Kashmiris”.
In its message posted on the website (www.greentribunal.gov.in), the hacker said, “You little bitches violate the cease fire on border and call it “Surgical Strikes” Now kiss the burn of Cyber War.”
“We are unbeatable… You kill innocent people in Kashmir and call your self defenders or your country,” the message further read.
The message remained on the website’s homepage for a little over an hour before being taken down by the authorities.
The background score for the profanity-filled message was an electric guitar version of the Pakistani national anthem, Mumbai Mirror has reported.
Last week, the Indian Army conducted surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) against terrorist camps operating inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), inflicting heavy damage.
