Salman's 'Shera' accused of assault
The complainant, Attar Umar Qureshi has claimed that around 2:30 AM on Tuesday Night when he approached Shera at a pub in Vile Parle, a heated argument broke out between the two.
The bodyguard of Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan, Shera has been accused of assault after he allegedly broke a man’s collar bone and threatened him with a gun. He has been taken to Mumbai’s DN Nagar police station for questioning and is likely to be arrested.
According to reports, a complaint had been registered against Shera at the DN nagar police station under Section 326 (Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons) and Section 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) of Indian Penal Code.
The complainant, Attar Umar Qureshi has claimed that around 2:30 AM on Tuesday Night when he approached Shera at a pub in Vile Parle, a heated argument broke out between the two. After they left the club, Shera along with two other bodyguards allegedly assault the complainant, breaking his collar bone and pointed a gun at him.
Senior police inspector of DN Nagar police station, Dhanaji Nalawade informed that the incident took place last night after Shera got into a scuffle with Attar Umar Qureshi on Link road, with whom he also had a heated argument earlier over the phone. It turned ugly when Shera allegedly beat up Qureshi, who has been hospitalized in Andheri.
According to the reports, the reason behind the altercation is not yet clear. Also, no arrest has been made so far in the case and further probe is underway.
According to the Mumbai police spokesperson, Ashok Dudhe Qureshi got a call and while he was speaking an altercation broke out between him and Shera, Also,the complainant alleged that Shera hit him with a baton and a bit of pistol and fled from the spot.
In talks with Times Now, Shera denied the charges and said he had a verbal argument with the complainant. But Attar Umar Qureshi has said during a fight on road last night, Shera pulled a gun on him last night and him with it.
He claimed, “Nothing happened on Tuesday. I went to meet a friend at Kokilaben Hospital, then I went to Pop Tate’s where I had a verbal argument on the phone, but no physical scuffle.”
He added, “The police came to my house in the morning and now I am accompanying them to the DN Nagar Police Station. I don’t know the details of the charges against me.”
It is being said that the complainant, who is reportedly a staff at the pub where the brawl took place, has alleged that Shera used a gun to threatened him and then attacked him in which his shoulder bone was broken.
