Brad Pitt, 52, and Angelina Jolie, 41, are negotiating on for their divorce settlement, on ‘Custody/visitation, temporary support for Angelina and the kids, permanent financial support and property split’ according to TMZ. The website also reports that popular duo is actually pretty close to settling the first two of the orders, but while it comes to economic support and property split, they have a long way to go.
TMZ sources have said that both sides wanted a hasty end to what could become a controversial divorce. Angelina laid the stage by requesting for sole physical custody after their jet took off and the couple began arguing for which their 15-year-old son, Maddox jumped up, verbally defending his mother. It is said that Brad lunged at Maddox and Angelina jumped in between them in order to block her husband. Brad still had managed to touch his son.
Sources say to media that, Brad felt the story of Maddox’s incident in the jet, was leaked by Angelina’s friends. But shortly, the negotiations started all over.
An anonymous caller also alerted the LAPD and DCFS that Brad was reportedly physically and verbally abusive on the jet. He has denied it. Although the first two points are nearing to the resolution, with one big yank, the jet incident is under investigation by the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services. The settlement must conform to the ultimate DCFS recommendations.
Hollywood’s popular pair have stayed low-key since their divorce news came to the spotlight on Sept. 20. It is said that Angelina is in a Malibu mansion currently with the kids, and Brad’s whereabouts are unknown. He has not filed a response to Angelina’s papers yet with the courts.
