Actor Aditya Pancholi was sentenced by a local court in Mumbai to one year in prison for attacking his neighbour. He was later released on a Rs 12,000 bail bond. In 2015, Pancholi punched his neighbour, Pratik Pasrani , and broke his nose during a quarrel.
Pancholi was accused of "assault and criminal intimidation" after the altercation. The argument started between Pasrani and Pancholi over a parking slot after Pancholi's guest parked his car in the slot reserved for his neighbour. The issue happened in a residential complex in Versova suburb.
Police personnel changed the registration of the case from a non-cognizable one to a case of severe hurt and criminal bullying after it was validated that Pasrani's nose had been broken in the scuffle.
