All party delegation from Kerala denied permission to meet the PM
The all party delegation from Kerala, which was scheduled to meet the Prime Minister tomorrow have cancelled the visit as the PMO denied permission for the meeting. Terming this as an insult on the people of Kerala,Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told reporters that the delegation is cancelling the visit as a token of protest. ‘ The PMO’s stand denying permission to the all party delegation is deplorable. We do not have to meet Finance minister or other ministers as the Government delegation had met them earlier on this regard’, said Pinarayi Vijayan. One can’t expect anything more from leader of RSS that hails Hitler and Mussolini, added Vijayan. Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala also condemned the center’s decision. ‘ Narendra Modi is repeatedly proving to be a dictator ‘ he said.
Kerala Assembly, which held a special session to discuss the turbulent situation in the state’s co-operative sector in the wake of Centre’s demonetisation scheme, had passed a resolution urging the center to withdraw the restrictions on cooperative banks.
