Amit Shah’s friends, family engaged in exchange of black money after demonetisation, alleges ex-BJP MLA Yatin Oza
A former BJP MLA from Gujarat Yatin Oza has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he made some serious allegations against BJP President Amit Shah claiming that he has a video recording which will ‘clearly and beyond reasonable doubt prove’ that all close associates of Shah since 8th Nov are engaged in exchange of black money.
Oza, who gave Amit Shah his first ever political break, says that those with black money are thronging at Shah’s office and residence for conversion of black money into white at a discounted rate of 37%.
“One has to go without identity with at least a sum of Rs. 1 Crore which will be counted by the employees and a bag containing Rs. 63 lakhs of valid denomination would be handed over,” asserts Oza in the letter.
Oza says that he will show the video to some senior journalists and intimate the PM about the same so that PM Modi can cross-check and verify the genuineness of his statement from the journalists. He has further claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetisation move announced on November 8 was not kept as a secret until the last moment, as claimed by the government, and the information was selectively leaked.
He says that on November 9, someone ‘very near and dear’ to him informed that on November 8 at around 12 in the afternoon wife of one of the leading industrialist of Ahmedabad in her presence came to a leading jewellery shop and as per pre-order purchased gold worth 20 crores.
“Gold was ready and packed and it took two minutes to transfer gold and cash to each other. She was incidentally present at the shop buying pre-ordered jewellery worth Rs. 5 lakhs. She is a doctor of a very high repute and eminence,” Oza claims.
Modi’s one-time confidante and Amit Shah’s mentor, Yatin Oza EX-BJP MLA from Gujarat writes to Modi:

He says when he inquired about the incident, the information he gathered was shocking. Oza said that information of demonetisation must have been conveyed well before the announcement to Modi’s near and dear industrialist who in total controls 50% of the black money of this country. He slammed PM Modi saying, “By adhering to such a popularistic measure you have really befooled the people of this nation.”
Referring to Reserve Bank of India’s ban on District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBs) accepting demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, he said the decision was taken solely because large-scale irregularities and illegalities were committed at that level.
He claims that Modi knew about these illegalities as ‘all district co-operative banks (in Gujarat) are controlled by people committed to BJP.” “These banks right from 9 PM on 8/11/2016 till 5 AM on 9/11/2016 exchanged Rs.500 and Rs.1000 currency notes against smaller denomination,” Oza says.
He says that common people, ‘hungry and thirsty’, are standing in queues in front of ATMs and banks to withdraw some small amount but not the people who have Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Porsche or Range rover.
“In your opinion possibly the black money was hoarded only by those people in a queue either at the ATM or at a bank but not with owners of vehicles mentioned above. The people of this country would also like to know that apart from fortune 300 industrialists how much money builders, contractors more particularly contractors who have been awarded government contracts, miners who are more particularly involved in iron ore mining, other industrialists and above all politicians and bureaucrats have deposited the money,” says the letter.
