Apple ties up with PayPal to send money via iphone’s siri
Siri is teaming up with PayPal to send money more easy and hassle-free. Now Apple iPhone or iPad users can send their iPhone/ iPad contact lists to send money using Siri, Apple’s voice-controlled assistant.
Siri now lets Apple users access PayPal to send money to where ever you want or just request money from your Apple iPhone / iPad contact list.
How Apple siri sends money via PayPal:
You just need to hold down home button of Apple iPhone / iPad and tell, “Siri, Send him $15 via PayPal.”
PayPal said, it is integrating Apple iOS app with Siri from Thursday. The new iOS app is currently becoming most popular downloads and first of such Apple iOS app to do so.
Apple said, at the launch of iOS 10 it will link Siri with apps like WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Pinterest,
When iOS 10 launched in September, Apple announced Siri commands for apps like WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
Siri will now send and request money with a using Square Cash and Venmo, an app owned by PayPal for all money transactions.
You can just tell Siri to send or receive your money, and iphone or ipd will show details. Siri will send you message to confirm. “Yes” will sends money; “No” will cancel the transaction. Siri is working on to control third-party apps now.
Once it is operational, Siri may tie up with PayPal or other firms. Siri is a pioneer and ahead of Google’s Assistant, and Amazon’s Alexa is close behind. Alexa don’t allow to talk over phone, Amazon added the feature to its current tablet lineup.
PayPal’s Siri integration is accessible in English, Spanish, Cantonese, Arabic, French, German, Italian and Hebrew.
First of all PayPal will ask to provide Siri access to Apple app and check users account. We should enter a secret code being sent by PayPal.
