Army Man Killed in Pakistani Shelling KG sector, Poonch
An Army jawan was killed in Pakistani shellingIndian positions along the Line of Control in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district on Sunday morning.
“Indian army has effectively retaliated using same caliber weapons, shelling and firing exchanges is still on”, reports said.
Sources said the Pakistani troops were targeting forward Indian positions in Salotri and Sagra areas of KG Sector since 7 am. The Indian army was retaliating, they said.
Sunday’s Unprovoked shelling on the border took after the quiet two days. The violation of cease-fire agreement become a routine after the September 28th surgical strike.
A few days earlier, eight civilians were killed in unprovoked mortar shelling from across the border in Arnia and Rajouri respectively. In retaliatory fire, the BSF said that it destroyed 14 Pakistani posts opposite Arnia sector, besides causing heavy casualties among Rangers. Some civilians on the Pakistani side too were killed.
