Delhi Schools will be closed for 3 Days: Kejriwal Lists Decisions to Prevent Smog

Delhi schools should be shut down for the next three days and all the construction and demolition works are to be banned for the next five days.

“Instead of politicising the Delhi’s pollution issue, we need to solve it together”, Arvind Kejriwal urged for a collective effort to overcome the Delhi air pollution.

While attending a press briefing , Delhi chief minister listed out the things to do for preventing the alarming smog issues in Delhi.

“Delhi schools should be shut down for the next three days and all the construction and demolition works are to be banned for the next five days” Kejriwal briefed in the press meet which has taken place at his residence.

“No Diesel Generator sets to be used in Delhi for next 10 days except hospitals and emergency places and Badarpur power plant to be shut down for 10 days”, he added.

“People should stay at home as much as they can and it is better to avoid the expose to this polluted air”, Kejriwal remarked.

Delhi has been facing an alarming rate of air pollution for last one week especially after the Diwali.
