Arvind Kejriwal on 10-day Punjab visit, to address 21 rallies
Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party supremo, Arvind Kejriwal is off to Punjab today to address 21 rallies till November 30.
Reportedly, he will be starting his campaign from Jalalabad, the constituency represented by Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and end his tour of Punjab at Gurdaspur on November 30.
Sangrur, Moga, Barnala, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Ropar, Kapurthala, Pathankot and Bathinda are among other places where the election rallies have been planned.
It has been said that Kejriwal is expected to base his campaign on the construction of the Sutlej-Yamuna-Link (SYL) canal issue, the drug menace, law and order and procurement of crops in the state. He has been opposing demonetisation, and has claimed it to be a scam by government.
The AAP is eyeing to increases its power-hold in Punjab after the 2017 Assembly elections in the state.
