BJP to Counter the Fireworks during the winter session of Parliament
The Bharatiya Janata Party Parliamentary Party Executive will be held today to discuss the strategies to counter the arguments of opposition during the winter session of parliament.
The winter session of parliament will commence on Wednesday which will witness the explosive fireworks over the recent policies of the government. The opposition is already displaying an aggressive stance against the demonisation of high denomination currencies.
Party brass, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and president Amit Shah, will attend the meet. The National Democratic Alliance allies will also be meeting on Monday.
The opposition will be targeting the government on issues like demonetisation, Kashmir unrest, and One-Rank One-Pension (OROP) in both houses of the parliament.
Shah attacked opposition parties on demonetisation policy, saying they were against an exercise which has rattled those dealing in black money, fake currency, narcotics and such activities.
On the other hand, leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday said Congress MPs would raise the demonetisation issue under rules 56 and 193 during the Winter Session.
