Britain to Intensify Trade Ties with India: Theresa May
Britain can not wait until the complete Brexit to deepen the trade ties with India, British Prime Minister Theresa May stated her stand on India-Britain relation.
“I will be discussing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi how we can increase the detail and depth of our trade and investment discussions, and identify what more we can do, now, to unleash our businesses, industries, exporters and investors,” May said while she attends the India-UK tech Summit in New Delhi.
“This does not need to wait for us to leave the EU”, said Theresa May who has eyed on the post-Brexit free trade deal. May’s visit is to be considered as the part of making a global market in favour of Britain.
May has promised that the access to Britain is going to be easy for business travellers not for students. The two-day trip will take her to Bengaluru on Tuesday.
