Demonetisation: #ModiTakesBribes tops Twitter trends
Hours after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of involving in black money transactions, #ModiTakesBribes has hit the top of the Twitter trending chart.

Ever since Modi announced the decision to demonetise the RS 1000 and Rs 500 notes, Twitterati has been in a virtual fight, with both supporting and opposing arguments.
However, #ModiTakesBribes became to trend in Twitter after Kejriwal alleged Modi was paid Rs 25 crore by the Aditya Birla Group when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
“The laptop of Aditya Birla Group disclosed a transaction. Written – Gujarat CM-25Cr,” Kejriwal referred to Modi’s involvement in the scam.
Earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party twitter handle tweeted the document which mentions Rs 25 crore was transferred to Gujarat CM.
