Opposition parties storm both the Houses demanding a resolution on cash deaths
Following the ruckus over demonetisation, both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till Tuesday.
A united Opposition on Monday argued that no discussion on demonetization would take place till the House mourns the nearly 70 deaths.
The opposition also argued for a debate on the notes ban in the Lok Sabha followed by a vote and, however, the government has reportedly objected to the language of the motion that would be used for the debate.
In Rajya Sabha, Finance minister Arun Jaitley said that the opposition was not ready for any debate but was merely trying new tactics every day to disrupt Parliament.
