The price of non-subsidised cooking gas (LPG) cylinders was on Monday hiked by Rs 38.50. An LPG cylinder in Delhi would now cost Rs 529.
In another move, the price of subsidised LPG cylinders was also raised by about Rs 2 per cylinder. After this revision, subsidised LPG will cost Rs 425.06 in Delhi. The price change will be applicable from today.
The three fuel retailers – Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum – revise jet fuel and non-subsidised LPG prices on the first day of every month, based on the average international price in the preceding month.
