Hyundai Tucson launched in India at starting price of Rs 18.99 lakh

The petrol motor comes with Dual VTVT technology and is made of aluminium. The motor produces 153bhp 196Nm of torque.

Hyundai has launched Tucson SUV at an introductory price of Rs. 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol 2WD. The all new Hyundai Tucson will be available in 5 variants and 5 colour options.

The vehicle will be available in 2 petrol and 3 diesel engine options.

The vehicle from the Hyundai comes in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-litre MPI four-cylinder petrol engine churning out 152bhp of power and 192Nm of torque, while the diesel variant sports a 2.0-litre CRDi four-cylinder diesel unit rated at 182bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. The two variants will come equipped with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

This is the third-generation and built on the company’s popular Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy, according to Cartrade.com. The newly launch vehicle gets leather upholstery, leather wrapping for the instrument panel and steering wheel. The feature list includes an eight-inch touch screen infotainment system, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, electric tail-gate and parking sensors among others.
