Leaders of India paid tributes to the great Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro who passed away on Friday morning. The leader’s death was officially announced by Cuban President and brother Raul Castro through State Television.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the row extending his condolences to the people and government of Cuba.In a series of tweets, Modi recalled the iconic Cuban leader saying he was one of the iconic personalities of the 20th century.
