Yet another infiltration bid by terrorists was foiled by the Indian Army on Wednesday night. A terrorist has been gunned down and an AK-47 gun has been recovered.

Days before, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had convened a meeting with three security services in order to monitor the situation along the border.
The meeting was called to check the situation after the surgical strikes Indian Army had conducted across the LoC. The border has seen repeated infiltration bids and ceasefire violations by Pakistan Army and Pakistan Rangers.
Reports had come suggesting Lashkar-e-Taiba is conspiring for a big strike on India and the outfit's chief Hafiz Saeed has directed commander Abu Irfan Tandewala find out a river route to enter India.
India Today reported that the operation team consists of at least eight to nine men and Pakistan Army is giving all assistance for the infiltration bids.
