Bharatiya Janata Party has accused that irresponsible chief minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee is misguiding people on demonetisation policy of the Centre.
“As Chief Minister of West Bengal, she must act responsibly. Certainly, you can go to the people, find out the difficulties they are facing and you should try and resolve their problems. But today, Mamata Banerjee is acting in a very irresponsible manner by going to the people of Burrabazar area,” Chandra Kumar Bose, BJP leader, told ANI.
“She is trying to incite the people by misguiding them against the Central Government. This is a historic decision taken by Narendra Modi Ji to curb black money in circulation, to fight the terror money that is being used and also the fake currency. Since independence, no other Prime Minister has taken such a positive step. For the first time, a milestone decision has been taken by the Prime Minister. I think all political parties must support this decision,” Bose added.
Mamata, one of the leaders who is strongly criticising the Centre on demonetisation of high denomination notes, warned of a stir from Monday morning if demonetisation did not withdraw.
