Kejriwal Slams PM Modi on Demonetisation
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal slammed Prime minister Narendra Modi saying "yesterday Modi took blessings of Sharad Pawar to fight against black money, no irony can be bigger than that".
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday hammered Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Demonetisation policy.
"Yesterday Modi took blessings of Sharad Pawar to fight against black money, no irony can be bigger than that," Kejriwal mocked over Modi's move.
Kejriwal called for an emergency assembly session on Tuesday to discuss the demonetisation issue."Emergency session of Delhi assembly called tomorrow over demonetisation crisis," said AAP supremo in a press briefing called.
Aam Aadmi Party chief announced that AAP volunteers will provide water and refreshments near ATM queues. He said people are struggling to get money all over India for the past six days due to the demonetisation policy of the Centre.
Opposition parties including Congress and BSP also slammed the demonetisation move in simultaneously held press briefings.
BSP supremo Mayawati decried the demonetisation move saying people of India suffered a lot by the directive.
