Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati came heavily down on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his Demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.

She started her press brief by mentioning the rally PM addressed in Ghazipur today as part of BJP’s election campaign. “Modi ji makes claims of fighting against corruption, but today BJP got its volunteers in trains without tickets for Ghazipur rally,” former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said.

She alleged that to increase the number of participants, people were brought from other states also.


BSP supremo slammed the demonetisation move saying people of India suffered a lot by the directive.

She even compared Modi’s Ghazipur address to a parrot’s jingle.

Other opposition parties including Aam Aadmi Party and Congress also slammed the move in simultaneously held press conferences.
