However, Minister asked the mother-daughter duo to remain seated on their seats and he took seat at another place along with his wife. The sweet gesture made Shreya tweet her happiness on the matter.

In the twitter world when ministers are just a tweet away, Union Minister took his fan following to a flight.

Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, gave up his seats on a flight recently and won the heartfelt gratitude of the young girl. Shreya Pradip, a young girl who was travelling in Indigo flight from Bengaluru to Ranchi, expressed her happiness and gratitude to the minister in a tweet citing ‘acche din’ along with a selfie with him.

She was reportedly moved to better seats in the flight as her mother was ill and needed more leg room. But soon enough they realized the seats belonged to Sinha and his wife.

However, Minister asked the mother-daughter duo to remain seated on their seats and he took seat at another place along with his wife. The sweet gesture made Shreya tweet her happiness on the matter.

In reply to Shreya, Sinha promptly accepted her thanks.

And the impact of this step on Shreya was visible in the conversations she held with the strangers, who questioned her about what was a big deal in this step. She stood her ground for the Minister amid the questionnaire.

Interestingly, her post thanking Sinha has been retweeted over 3000 times and has received nearly as many likes.

It is not to be forgotten that this isn’t the first instance of Social media helping in Minister-Public interaction, as social media has been adequately used by public to seek help from Ministers and also thank them for the steps they take for the general help. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu have provided assistance to many netizens and have received appreciation for their work on social networking sites.
