Mulayam Singh will take the final call on grand alliance: Akhilesh Yadav
Akhilesh Yadav stated that any possible resolutions on the grand alliance would be taken by Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has stated that the decision on the grand alliance would be taken only by Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
“I will give my suggestions only at party platform. Elections are near, who will gain, who will lose (in alliance) is to be taken note of. The decision is to be taken by party’s national president,” Akhilesh told reporters. He refused to express his stand on grand alliance when he had faced questions.
Akhilesh slammed the media by questioning,“If SP and Congress want the alliance, will you (media) stop it?”, when asked about the possibility of SP joining hand with Congress.
Akhilesh was not ready to respond the questions related to the meeting of Prashanth Kishor with Mulayam. Yesterday Prashath met Mulayam for the second time and it was a day after top leaders of socialist-leaning parties attended SP’s silver jubilee meet.
